About Me
My Background
My name is Lia and I am a Pennsylvania State University graduate with a B.S. in Animal Science and two minors, one in International Agriculture and the other in Equine Science. I grew up in the Philadelphia area in Pennsylvania but was born in Anhui, China. After graduating from college, I moved across the country from Pennsylvania to Alaska, where I live with my wonderful partner and our rabbit. Alaska is a wild experience and we are living each day to the fullest, until it is time for our next adventure!
My Hobbies
Outside of work I love any opportunity to get outside. I enjoy hiking, camping, and nature photography. I also spend my free time knitting and reading and love petsitting until I decide to get my own dog!
My Favorite Things
I am passionate about travel and enjoy exploring new places and cultures. I have been exposed to travel, both domestic and international from a very young age, and thus I caught my travel bug early on. So far I have been lucky enough to visit 28 states and 7 countries. I am hoping to use this blog to share my experiences with others as well as motivate myself to continue exploring and documenting as I go.
